Starter switch wire
Guys ! Do any of you know what the wires on a steering column starter switch go to. Its setup with 5 holes on the top,5 on the bottom and with one in the middle on the end.
--- Purple/white stripe ---
Yellow-------------------------Blank
Yellow-------------------------Black/green stripe
Blank -------------------------Purple/green stripe
Purple/Yellow stripe------Red/green stripe
Blank -------------------------Red/gray stripe

Starter switch wire
.What year truck are we talking about here? The black/green to yellow is power, as is the other yellow. The red/green is the ignition switch wire and the purple/yellow looks to be to the neutral safty switch. The yellow side is coming from the engine fuse block and the black/green is going to accesories.
This info is for 92-96 trucks, however it looks to be the same for earlier ones as well.. Hope this helps.
