new to the block..help.........

I HAVE A 1967 F100 240 ,BOUGHT 2 MONTHS AGO,IT RUNS GOOD,STARTS GOOD,I HAVE TRIED TWO REBUILT CARBS..IT WORKS FOR A WHILE THEN IT STARTS TO LEAK.

I assume you mean the carb is leaking fuel, is this correct?Have you tried getting everything cleaned up and dried off then looking to see where the fuel is coming from?

Thahks For Responding .yes It Is Leaking Gas,sometime It Leaks Out The Top Of Bowl. Other Times It Leaks After I Shut It Off..i Just Took It Apart Again And Cleaned It Out ..removed Gas Tank Cleaned It,new Filter ,blew Out All Lines.hope That Will Help..any Other Suggestions ,please Feel Free..thanks

Check the needle valve and seat? Make sure there is not any burrs are deformations to the end of the needle and/or the seat face that the needle sits in. Also readjust the float to specs. While you have it apart put the float in some clean gas for a while and see if it stays floating. If it doesn't, it starts to sink, you have a bad float. It will continue to leak from fuel bowl and other places if you reuse it. I found this out on a couple of reman carbs in the past especially the float adjustment. Double check taht all screws are tight, DON'T OVER TIGHTEN. Tim
