K....so do either of these pictures tell you my problem, if you look at baron's motor and mine, they are identical to each other, other than the oil pan....

They look the same to me, also look at the front pic showing the dizzy, it sits well below the intake manifold like a 351w would.
So i found out that the truck i have only came with a 302 or 351M or 400 installed, thats why im having such a problem with the pan......so i called jegs to get some advice on what pan to get and they told me that i would need this......
crack smokers, have you tried a 4wd 351w pan that is rear sump. you might also look into a pan from a van perhaps. the 351w block hasnt really changed so the pans should all match up just run a regular volume oil pump.
