[updated:LAST EDITED ON 05-Jan-03 AT 09:29 PM (EST)]I am installing a lightning mass air kit in my '96 Bronco. I have converted my 5.8L with Lightning mods,(intake,cam, headers). The problem I have,(after I went to the trouble of changing injectors, computer, wiring harness, is that the Bronco connector does not match up with the Lightning connector. What I think I need is the wiring harness connector out of a lightning to splice into the Bronco cpu connector.

I need help.

 

If you pull the red piece of plastic out of the connector (any connector or relay socket on the truck), you can slip any terminal out & move it somewhere else, or slip them all out & back into another connector.

 

Thanks for the info. Maybe somebody can explain to me why Ford uses a 105 pin connector on their eec-v(Bronco) when the wiring diagram shows 60 pins and only 48 of them are actually being used. Nothing is easy, I guess.
