Tell "someone" that: 1952/64 Ford 215, 223 and 262 I-6 engines have the intake & exhaust manifolds on the left (drivers) side.
All the 1965 and later 240/300 I-6's have the intake/exhaust manifolds on the right (passenger) side.
IF the letter K in the VIN is correct, this was originally a Y block 272 2V.
Does the VIN on the Warranty Plate (inside the glovebox door) match the VIN on the registration?
Here's the block of mine although i dont understand the fist series before the 6015 or the D afterwards Here's the engine tag. Engine may not match up with vin... Here's the door sticker. Hopefully one of you guys can clear this up
