Power Steering Pump Filter
I know a lot of guys are using this ps pump filter
LINK (Magnefine)
Is it possible to just use a regular inline filter or is it not fine enough? I know it isn't magnetic, but I need the truck by the weekend and I wouldn't mind some protection for the system if I am going to go through all the work.
Thanks for your input.
EDIT - Sorry that link isn't going straight to the part. This is the one I am referring to.

This little filter is $15. I didn't see how much they charge for shipping. You had to fill out the entire order from w credit card number to see that.

I installed one once on the trans cooler line on my old gasser after replacing a blown torque converter. Got it from O'Reilly. I don't remember it costing that much. I forget the brand name. Been a few years ago. Slept since then.

I have a little CM filter installed on mine, sure has seemed to quiet down the hydroboost pump whine since I put it on.
