Generator to Alternator/Electronic Ignition mod help
I have a couple of probably easy questions for you guys. I have the 64 John Deere F100 if you have already read my previous Post. I would like to know what I would need to do to convert my truck from a generator to an alternator from points to electronic ignition. As much help as possible please. If I don't know what I'm talking about help me learn. I shall be your grasshoppa. Thanks in advance guys.

either ignitor or ignitor II is a good kit from what ive heard for the up grade from points...
as far as the gen. to alt. ... why do it? from what i can tell my gen. does the job just fine....
although if you really want to... i THINK... just look for an FE altnator, and set it up just like it is on a newer truck... i belive that the brackets are the same...
