Does anybody have any experience with either the M/T cross ram intake or the Edelbrock cross ram for the FE series engines. Do these intakes have the breather basket hole in the back of the manifold.
Thank you
Ion Kendall
I have one of those intakes........but it's been so long since I looked at it I couldn't tell you if it does or not? Not sure which version, as someone ground the name off, but mine has the TALL distributor perch on it(takes special 2 pc dizzy).
I'm almost betting it won't as the runners would probably get in the way?
I ran a MT cross ram on my race 428CJ in a 1969 Cobra (the Fairlane/Torino body style)with a pair of 390CFM Holleys (I tried some 500 CFM 2Vs too but the baby 4Vs were better) and it basicly kill everything below 3000 rpm. If memory serves FFR428 is correct, I plugged mine because I had breathers on both valve covers.
Thanks for the info guys. If anybody has one to sell I might be interested. I have a Holman Moody 2x4 intake that I ran for a while but the crossram looks REALLY COOL.
