i beleive it is a metric bolt size, but the 1/8 inch pipe thread is close to that size. i dont think i actually threaded anything to it. i used a weed sprayer and think i just shoved the rubber hose up aginst the plug hole and let is seal on the outside edge. just sticking a thin tube up the hole would also work, or a plastic 1/8 inch pipe nipple to hose barb might do it.

Steve, that's how I filled my transmission fluid. I filled a 1gal weed sprayer with the transmission fluid, took off the sprayer's nozzle and connected clear tubing in its place, then tightened an 1/8" connector to the other end of the tubing that had threads that would go into the fill plug but they didn't match very well. I used the clear tubing so that I could make sure the fluid was flowing and I wouldn't have to lay underneath the vehicle.
It was annoying but worth it b/c of the cost savings.

chris, you got to get UNDER the truck to pump the oil in. If your not down there the oil cant run down your shirt and get into you pants pocket. Your taking all the fun out of the oil change.
