A/C Condensor drain - where is it?

I/ve got a 2000 ranger with a 4Cyl engine. My a/c is putting out a terrible smell, which is generally a sign of a clogged drain. My problem is that I can't seem to find the drain to check it. I have no water dripping at all when the a/c is on, so I think I'm probably on the right trail, but I have looked everywhere and can't find the drain tube. Anyone have any help?

Thanks

the condensor is ahead of the radiator, and the evaporator is in/under the dash board. Not sure were the drain is on your trucks evaporator but they usually come out in the passenger side wheel well.

Yep the evap is the cooling source, and in most vehicles I have seen the drain is a rubber tube that extends out of the fire wall I just Took and air hose and a 1/4 in copper tube and blew it into the cab and the water started to flow. good luck ke6bnl

In most cases if you will find where the a/c hoses go thru the firewall the drain will be right below that point. If the evaporator is in a housing in the engine bay the drain is a cut out in the bottom of the case.
