Paint comming off!
I am just wondering if anyone here has had an issue with paint comming off their trucks? Some areas of the lower body, almost underneath the truck, are starting to peel off and some of it is slightly visible when looking at the lower side of the truck. Has anyone else on here seen this? My dad has a 2005 FX4 and had quite a bit of paint comming off the side of his truck near the gas door, and even though it was out of warranty Ford agreed to pay to have the entire side of the box re-painted.

I haven't personally seen it, but if you do a search on here an other F-150 forums, there does appear to be a limited # of trucks who peel at the gas door.
nobody has figured it out though. I remember 1 guy who said it was painted 2-3 times by different people and kept popping back up.

My '06 Lariat Screw is shedding paint on the right front bumper. Took it to a car wash last week and was suprised/annoyed that paint began to lift...I have yet to take it back to the dealer for advice.
I've never had a vehicle this new begin to lose paint...probably from a rock chip but what the heck...
