429 Alt relocation

I have a 79 Bronco with a 429 in it from a 73 or 74 Torino. I use the truck off road and in mud/water holes. The alternator is located low on the passenger side, I'd like to raise it up somewhere to keep it from getting to wet.

I don't like the low mounted alt. either-not fun to adjust belt, and too low for muddin. This setup is also a chore to replace the alt. belt. I did however find an 85 F250 4x4 w. 460 at a wrecker that had dual V-belt setup with the alt. mounted just in front of the pass. side valve cover. The mounting brackets are fairly big, but brings the accessories up alot-but it should bolt onto any regular 429/460. The bracketry also has some provisions for an airpump and a/c setup-could be handy to mount an engine driven air compressor.
Myself, I am going to trim off any parts I don't need, should look nice, and won't have to guess too much about belt replacement.
I have seen similar setups in some old lincolns too.
Hope this helps, good luck!

Thanks for the replies. Now I have another reason to go to the local salvage yard.
