Heater Only Blows Cold - PLEASE HELP!!!!

I have a 95 F250 Powerstroke. No matter what setting the switch is at, it will only blow cold air. I undid the bottom bolts of the heater core casing, and turned on blower with selector on Defrost. Hot air galore blows out the casing with the bolts off, but cold air is all that comes out the defrost. I thought maybe that the temperature selector cable was broke, but it is not. The heater core is fine also. I was wondering if someone here might know if there is an additional vacuum operated valve somewhere that controls the dividing door between the heater core casing and the fresh air vent? I am going nuts because unlike my 68 F250, there are too many parts dealing with the climate control equipment. I think that it may be easier to take the 68 cab and bed and mate it to the drive train of the 95 power stroke. I could remove and replace the entire vent system on the 68 faster than the time I have spent just trying to find the problem on the 95.

Frustrated!!!!

Heater Only Blows Cold - PLEASE HELP!!!!

After I wrote the above post, I decided just to go and remove the entire heater core access panel, and after reaching in and feeling around, I extracted one ball point pen that was keeping the hot / cold divider door from closing. What a relief to know it was just careless stupidity on my part. Think I'll just keep the 95 now.
