Once all the big corporations sell out to the world, America will become part of the third world. No more Bud for me.

I believe they will still have the breweries right here in the U.S. I think the jobs will still be here. What worries me is with buyouts sometimes come formula changes. I am tempted to learn to make my own beer. To support a U.S. business we can go to the brew pubs.

We should tar and feather the board members of A-B for approving the deal. Its sad that the companys past and heritage means so little to the owners they just sale out like its nothing.

Yeah, I know- we Americans deserved the heritage of that German beer..........

At least they didn't sell out to that Mexican company, or to the Chinese-

Let's turn the tables......

Did anyone snivel when any American companies have bought up foreign businesses?

I didn't think so.......

Now I will say I am not in favor of foreign buyouts, but life will go on.

Well then, support your local micro breweries.

I do.

Thats an idea too. I am not a drinker myself but I like a beer now and then. I just hope this new company sticks with the formula for my Bud Ice.

Do it, it's easy. You can make it as simple or as complicated as you want and it's a relatively cheap hobby.

Foriegn owned businesses are costly to the govt. They find ways around the tax laws that a US company cannot benefit from. When a company is foriegn owned, much of the profits go out of the country. Buy outs usually end up severely cutting back on jobs with heavy layoffs, cutting of benefits, etc.

Many of the large farms are foriegn owned, and have found ways to benefit from government hand-outs to farmers. And on and on.......jd
