The sides are easy, front is easy unless you are picky and want it like stock exactly, Tailgate could require some creativty, once again depending how pretty you want it, probably got to find a pair of fenders.

But just make the 2 sides front and then just cross brace and board or checkplate for a floor.
I guess you can buy a plain non letter tailgate for 250ish.

I'm definitely considering it! But I don't think going exactly like stock is too much of a concern it'd be going on the Crew Cab! Need a way to figure out the top piece that is on the sides. The fenders I can order from LMC to at least look a little like a 70s flareside box

I know my dad has a sheet metal binder, but it's not loike your box will be anything too thick, nothing a propane torch a big vise and a hammer can't do.

I was thinking, 1/2" steel plate, overkill??? lol The more I think about it, the more interesting it becomes!

1/2 inch steel plate would definatly never bend!

How much are the fenders from lmc?
