Its a custom mixed color based off of Ford's Manderian Copper Pearl Metallic
-different pearl color and grade
-and some other tint changes
-I did the body work, my former boss did the paint
I am actually going to do the inside of the wheel wheels with a tinted bed liner just like i did on the running boards.
The tailgate treatment is actually base/clear body color, masked off then sprayed with the tinted bedliner, which actually has my color mixed into it, but bedliner does NOT hold silver/pearl/metallic content at all.
I had a set of 17x8 BLACK Bullitts on there, they looked too dark to be honest, the charcoal kinda gives a nice contrast imo.
I am building my front bumper right now, I took a 39 Ford bumper, cut out the center section and welded brackets on the back, and welded the little horns on the ends of it.
Hopefully get out and cruise soon, by the way, the Mustang is also mine, 65 notchback which is getting a 302(cammed, ported, HEI, etc..) backed by a kit'ed C6 with a set of BFG T/As wrapped around Mickey Thompson ET IVs.

Nice work...
sorry I haven't been on in what seems like forever guys....but my baby is finally ready to roll, thought I would give you guys a quick run down and pics(still sitting in the garage though). She is nothing show-stopping or great, but its not a bad start, I did the body work on it, my former boss did the painting.
Later Man...

Great looking job... I couldn't help but notice the texture on the tailgate panel. What's the story on that? It looks kind of neat in the picture.

So far the 3 leaves are working great, I don't use it to haul or anything..its going down to 1 or 2 probably when my shockwaves and bags get in.
I should say the tailgate was first sprayed in body color, then I masked off the custom DuPont Chromapremier paint with 3M fine line and 3/4" tape, then took my custom tinted Speedliner Spray-On Bedliner and sprayed away.
A little helpful hint if you guys try this, make sure to leave a tail sticking out on your tape and unmask within 5 minutes of spraying the bedliner, otherwise it sucks major......... to get off cleanly.
Unfortunately I am no longer at the shop that I did the truck at(Williamsburg Auto Body) cuz he well...is practically closed now. I am at M&M Custom Finishes now, where we have a bunch of street rods that we work on, do just about everything from heavy machinery to some pretty nice street rods, I'll have to post up some pics sometime.
