Oh my GOD!
So I listen to Number Dummy and get the two parts CD's from Hipo Parts. The 64-72 truck and 65-72 ford car. They arrived today and I put the truck CD in. There are two PDF files and I open the first and can see it is about the parts numbers. Then I look at the bottom and see it is 4849 pages!!! Holy s__t! I can see there is a bit of a learning curve in order to work your way around all this. The second PDF file was for all the illustrations with 1961 pages. Haven't looked at the car one yet as I'll save that shock for another day...

there is a learning curve indeed...the thing that will make it easier or harder for you is if you were a reader in school or not and how much patience one has....the truck one is alot easier IMO then the car as theres less models to sift through and codes to figure and so on...and Bill dealt with all of this and the stuff from the 70s and 80s too....it definately gives me an even more immense appreciation for the REAL parts guys...those that do the number checking and so on rather then saying its obsolete...
This is why when I go to the counter I specifically ask the older fellas....it makes me wonder how the dealership is/has survived without Bills expertise.
