An uncle of mine is having issues with his vehicle.
When you turn the ignition on,the guages all shoot over to one side, way over...then they come back to the normal position...
Then while drivng, they will do the same thing...go way over the normal position and then back down to nothing, then back up to normal.
The dealership changed the whole cluster once already, but it hasn't helped much at all..was good for about 3 days...any ideas?
Supertruck my wife has a 2003 Escape and the gauges do that once and a while on start up but never when driving. I have found that if you just turn the key on and let the fuel pump cycle and wait about two seconds longer that it doesn't do it then. I asked my brother-in-law Ford tech and he doesn't know why it does that either. Hope this helps. If you find out why it does that I would like to know what you find out.

i had the same issues some people said it was the cluster it was not the cluster at all, all i needed was a tune up that solved the [problems with the gauges. it must of been one of the spark plugs
