1959 223 engine color
Hi,
A while back I traded my piece of junk '95 chevy for a piece of junk '59 ford. I told the wife it was worth my time and effort whereas the chevy wasn't. I've just finished rebuilding the engine and I wanted to paint the engine the correct color. It is the 223 straight six. I'm not building a show truck just a decent looking dependable ride. Thanks for any help.

Black motor, red valve cover, intake was black, exhaust as cast. Jury's still out on the air cleaner seen many a black and many a red. If there's any doubt from anybody else on this board, I may have to grab a factory photo.
