Power Loss/Low Boost

Just had to have a damn Chevy pull my 550 with my 18K camper attached up a hill coming out of a campground in Ga. Man I can't tell you how bad that hurt. I had a wicked wheel installed before my trip. All appears ok, but I don't seem to build the boost like I use to with the stock wheel and I really don't hear or feel the turbo until 2000-2300 rpm. Many times I have to turn off the OD to get the power to make a hill. No good response at rpms below 2,000. I've checked the boots, adjusted the tuner from stock to 100+ and it doesn't appear to help. Any suggestions?

Did you take the turbo off to install the WW?

Just wondering if you could have created an exhaust leak from the up-pipes.

Yes, turbo was removed, but I had the work done by an excellent diesel mechanic who I trust.

I'm sure if he is a good mechanic, he will stand behind his work. Bring it back to him and let him check it out. Might be he didn't tighten one of the boots on the spider.
