Free!
I got a free 78 f250 4x4 with a plow and utility box. Best of all I drove it home. She isnt pretty but just couldnt pass it up. I got it for parts. I have a 73 f250 4x4 I want to put my time and money into just because its a ( highboy ) so called but actually I like the divorced t-cases and the 73-74 grilles. I want some power steering and brakes if i put the plow on mine 73. I want to use the front end out of the 78 it has disc brakes and the steering is little differnt set up. but how hard would it be to put the power steering on to my 73 since every thing is there. Also the hdyrulics pump for the plow runs off from the power steering it has a double pully set up.

BTW, not sure where you live, but watch out for wasps. I had a nest (I think it was just one) when I got the truck towed, now I have at least four: one in the right door frame (somewhere), one under the hood towards the back, one in the very back of my flatbed (underneath somewhere - you can understand why I wouldn't go looking for it), and one in my flatbed frame on the left side. I took a few smoke breaks today and doused the areas with carb cleaner (boy did that **** them off), but I'm buying a yellowjacket trap and putting it right on the bed - hopefully they'll all fly in there and die.

Why not just make the '78 roadworthy too & have 2 trucks then?? 
I sure as hell would..........then you could sell the 1 you got for free to finance the mods you want to make & have maybe a few bucks left over as well

after some looking the motor is bad she is knocking. I also have a broke leaf spring in the front so I am going to use it as parts for now. I want to put the front axle under my 73 but when I measured it I came up with a 1/2 inch difference. But from what I here it is a direct bolt in. I have manual steering so i dont think I have to mess with that issue of hydro asist. also the high pinion witch my front drive line is wore out so I already planed on having it rebuilt.
