Tranny Types?
Once again I'm new to the site and the info is great. A true tribute to real truck guys. In my reading I have come to question some of the research I have done on the F250 I'm looking to buy and need someones help. Do all 04-07 6.0L PSD that have the auto tranny have the 5 speed Torqshift tranny?

Yes,
As long as its a Powerstroke its a Torque Shift. There is a munual that is also available. Just some info for you, if you look at the 03's if it has the 7.3 powerstroke in it it does not have the torque shift trans. Also the way to tell a 6.0 from a 7.3 without opening the hood is the emblem on the door. The 6.0 engine has the chrome emblem with red power stroke letters. The 7.3 had a mostly black emblem with chrome letters.

Just to clarify, the 7.3 was also a Powerstroke, and does not have the torqshift. I know what you meant Sarge, just wanted to clarify that one sentence. If it's a 6.0 Powerstroke, it has the Torqshift. Or a 6.4 as well.
