Nick,
Thanks for replying. No, I guess that's not the truck. I'm in SE WI and thought maybe it might have been the same truck. I lost track of the truck after my dad died in '91 and my goofy mom's boyfriend cleared out the yard.
My dad bought a van like that in the mid '80s. It was brush painted with beige and brown house paint. Some one did an excellent job on the woodwork on the inside though. I used the the truck for a summer for camping.
It was a great old truck and I have many fond memories from that one summer of camping. My favorite was coming home, going south on Hwy 41 in Lomira, WI, going up a long hill. The engine was pretty worn and didn't have much power, I topped that hill doing 25-30 mph. Man, I had a line a half mile long behind me. It was a busy weekend and everyone was coming home. I could just hear all of them cussing as they made their way past. It was a great time, a worn out beat up van, a couple of friends, a cooler with food and drinks and weekend at my grandparents abandoned house deep in the woods 150 miles from home. Then I got married and my wife turned me practical.

I have a 1972 Ford P 350 Vanette Parcel Delivery Truck
It is a 4 speed step up, on a Ford chassis. It has a wood bottom floor (covered with steel), Due-lies, and an oil bath filter. I have had it for about 5 years now, but am thinking of selling it at a swap-meet coming up in a couple of months. I'm torn, because I know there aren't many out there (I sure get the looks when I drive it).... but I have so many irons in the fire that something has to give, and I think the 1972 Ford is it. I'm not sure if I can post pics on here (I signed up for free). If I can figure out how, I will.

Another 1952 P-350
Howdy!
I've got a 1952 P-350 that was a Langendorf Bread truck way back when.
Picked it up in 1992 and did some major running gear mods...
Pulled the 223 and replaced it with a 400cid and C6 tranny that was a pull from a 1978 Lincoln Continental. Engine, tranny, carb, the whole kaboodle for $125.00!
Had the engine gone through and balanced / line bored, stuck an RV cam in it. Eldebrock 4-barrel manifold and a little 650 cfm carb.
Wish I'd been able to locate some 4V heads while the block was in the shop!
Fabricated a new engine housing and dashboard from a surgical laser housing from the company I was working for as a technician.
Installed a vacuum brake booster to get the tank to stop.
Am now working on converting it to a little RV and may tear off the back half and build frame up from scratch (did that once with a '59 P-350).
Once I figure out how to do the picture posting thing, I'll post some shots and a link to a dropbox that has video of the engine install process.

Here are the pictures.
I also noted that you're looking for the windshield wiper assembly, as well as the horn button assembly. Well, buddy, you're in luck! Several years ago I stripped a 52 P350, just like yours, of its engine, instrument panel, grille assembly, hood, and the original vacuum operated windshield wiper motors with the long wiper arms and blades. This truck was also in San Jose. I also have the horn button assembly.
I'll send you an email with my contact info if you're interested.

Parts is parts...
I'm going to upgrade the rig to electric drive motors and might be interested in the wiper arms since anything aftermarket I'm finding doesn't have much in the way of blade coverage.
The horn button assembly would be cool.
If I get inspected, there would be a fix-it ticket for no horn and
if checked out... no emergency brake.
The original driveline had one of those steel drums mounted to the back of the tranny and driveshaft that had brake shoes surrounding it.
When I pulled the lever, the shoes gripped the drum and driveline was
captive to movement.
The original Dana rear end wasn't set up for an E-brake cable so I swapped it out for another that does. Haven't gotten around to the project of adding all the ancillary hardware to make this work.
Give me a shout at ...(831) 234-3084

What you have, if it's a 1952 is an F3 Parcel Delivery, which came with the 215 OHV I-6. 223 I-6 introduced in 1954.
Post #26: That's a P Series, notice the grille.

ID numbers and vintage...
Wow...
Interesting.
Here's a shot of the plate fixed to the inside of the cab.
The DMV reg gives it a 1952 and that's what I was going on.
I see a P number and the horsepower and an RPM rating.
Yours is good info like a geneology search
Thanks for the heads up and reply...
