my heater blows out the defrost.regardless of where my selector is.is this controlled by vacum?i've checked all the cables.they are all connected.any help would be appreciated.thanks.

I'm having the same problem guys, mines vaccum operated and for the life of me can't get the doors to open to put the heat out the vents instead of the defrost...no matter what position i put the selector in it stays on defrost...any help is appreciated

Time to Borrow a Vacuum Pump to test the control system.
Some auto parts store have a "Lend a tool " program.
