Are you talking about converting TO propane, or back to petrol? (gas = petrol over here)

I'd recommend a websearch, there have been a few threads on it here but the Aussies do an awful lot of these on propane and have the good stuff.

Here in the states it'd be called propane, or LPG for liquified propane gas. I'd suggest doing a Google search for vehicle convertions connected to those terms. It's a conversion I've considered doing too. The benefits include a much cleaner burn and no polution to speak of, and higher octane, but the down side includes less MPG and over here a weak refueling network. In the UK I'd think it would be well suited given the fact of lesser distances to travel.
