Just in case y'all don't believe his age...I met with him and his dad and gave them both a ride to the Western Nationals on 6/21/2008.

So when he sez he's only 13, he ain't just a whistling Dixie!

He's a good kid, but...being that young...he's sorta overwhelmed by all the old pharts on FTE (to him, that's prolly everyone over 21), so give him a break.

btw: I'm 63, which makes me nearly 5 times his age...so I definetly qualify as an old phart in mosta your eyes.

AFAIK: I'm the 7th oldest FTE member.

Sorry for rambling, but I still try and give the kid a break, and if you say he's 13 I'll believe it and try and cut him a little more slack cuz I remember what 13 was like, and I have a 12 yo brother.

There was a thread about "how old are you" 6 months ago, and as I recall, one member (Dono) was born in 1935, others in 1937, 1938, 1941, 1943, and 1944. The 6th member born in 1944 was 6 weeks or so older than I am.

I never played football, but my dad won all sorts of awards in high school and college during the 1930's playing (as they did back then) several positions in offense and defense. He was an All American in 1939, and is in the Harvard Athletic Hall of Fame.

It has nothing to do with you, kiddo...and since you're asking a stupid question, why did you pick the same avatar as Steve Bricks (SoCal Chapter Leader) has?

I post all over FTE in almost every forum covering almost every spectrum, so I'm much more visible than you'll ever be...and because I'm posting everywhere, more ppl will be aware of the chapter.

I just asked the members to give you a break because of your age...but mebbe I spoke too soon.

I've been to EVERY chapter GTG, you've been to one, the West Nats truck show.

You prolly wouldn't had gone to that if I hadn't given you and your dad a ride...saving you the ten buck parking fee (which you whined and moaned about)!

btw: I tried giving you a break, but after your dumbazz question, you're now back on ignore!

Did you ever hear the expression that's sez:

It's a good idea to put your brain in gear before you put your mouth in motion?

Something for you to consider...before you start making statements.

And I'm not being rude, just truthful.

You bring these responses upon yourself, so don't blame me.

I asked you a simple question;I'm sorry I don't have the answer to every thing.
I am only Human,Only Our Great Heavenly Father is Perfect. I thank OUR Lord every day.
I'm here on this earth,He Has bestowed upon us his greatest gift;Jesus,Eternal life,in
Heaven, and last but not least Ford Trucks
Maybe everyone can learn from this-(Think Before You Speak)-.
And don't you think fighting is even more immature than wrongful posting.
I thought You WERE a great guy,but now I don't know anymore.
I wanted to ask you what the best Ford Book For the money is.?
Best Wishes...
May Your life bring many years and Joys to come,As well as anyone else I'm sorry.
I apologize for any rude things said.
People sometimes say things that they don't mean in anger and frustration.
And I forgive what was said above to any one it may concern.
God-Bless You May the Lord be with you.
Dr.Dirt I am VERY VERY sorry for Hi-Jacking your Thread,I hope all is well.
Treat others the way you would like to be treated.
Forgive,respect,honor;The rules of conduct.
If you wish to receive respect, first you must give it.
Always Obey,honor your Elders.
I try my best,I hope to stride farthest but it always doesn't happen.
The most important human endeavor is the striving for morality in our actions.
Our inner balance and even our very existence depend on it.
Only morality in our actions can give beauty and dignity to life.

In Latin: Dominus vobiscum, et *** spiri tu tu o.

More Latin...Mea culpa...mea culpa...mea maxima culpa!

I've given you these two book reference at least twice in P/M's and Don (camperspecial65) has also given you the first one.

The Standard Catalog of Light Duty Ford Trucks 1905-2002 / by John Gunnell / Krause Publishing / ISBN: 0-87349-411-3

Pickup Trucks / by Mike Mueller / Motorbooks International / ISBN: 0-7603-1842-5

Both these books were available at Autobooks-Aerobooks on Magnolia Avenue in Burbank. Dunno if they still have them or not, so give 'em a call.

This is the largest book store in CA (mebbe anywhere) that caters to books and literature inre to the old car hobby.

Of course it's real...and the mea culpa part refers to me, kiddo.

Translation: Through my fault...through my fault...through my most grievious fault...for typing in this thread!!

Call Autobooks-Aerobooks and see if they have any copies of those books left.

323-849-1294

I had an extra copy of the first book, but gave it to another FTE member (Col Flashman).

You can look at my copy at the next chapter GTG...but you can't borrow it...I use it everyday here on FTE when decoding VIN's.

It has all the color codes and....Ford production figures.

The early (pre 1972) parts catalogs don't list all the color codes, and this is the only book I've found that has those production figures listed.
