8 stud rims

hi my 65 ford f250 has been fitted with later disk brake front and new rear end it has 8 stud rims i was told it was from the later 68-78 model will the new 2004 rims fit this bolt pattern i have seen some new wheel and tyres are mine imperial and the new ones metric!!!!!!!! cheers

No, the post '97 rims(Super Duty) are different, they will not bolt up, the pattern is different. I believe anything pre-1997 will bolt up...maybe. You are correct the newer wheels are metric. I've tried this first hand as they look to be very close, but not the same. Sorry to burst your bubble!

Depends on the lugs in 84 ford switched to a 5/8 stud. These wheels require special 1/2 20 lug nuts avalible from ford to fit the 5/8 stud holes.

thanks for the replys so any idea where i could buy some nice alloy/chrome rims to fit this setup i have standards at the minute which look great but would like some show wheels for high days and holidays,also which headers/ cast manifolds are best my truck is a 65 352 auto with laterdisk brakes and later steering box also its a 2 barrel and would like to up the anti with the power output also who does trim rings and correct hub caps for the 8 studs,thanks
