Finally we`re going to get some decent weather if the forecast holds, all the way up to 64°F and 72°F on Sunday...... that`s a heat wave for us!
Tonite if the owner is finally around Ill check out a 750 2008 Honda Shadow that`s for sale with 233 original miles!
Hi All, long time since I have posted, been super busy working 12 hr shifts, 24 days straight, with 4 off, (the 4 off were never preplanned- just rain out days).
Morris did you get a chance to check out the Shadow? I was hoping to get one myself this summer, just never had the time. Thinking it would be a better fit than the "mini", haha.
I thought I had made an appointment yesterday to look at it this at 5 pm this afternoon but the seller couldn`t make it till it was after dark so it`ll have to be tomorrow. If I don`t finish work in time sounds like it`ll have to be Sunday.
Hopefully there`s still some decent riding weather this fall, it`s a sweet 08 bike with only 373 kms, yes 373 kms!
What is he asking for it? Riverside Honda, in St. Albert AB, had an '09, new, going for $6800! Fully loaded! Sure was pissed I missed it.
That`s a smokin` deal!
This one is $6,000 plus no tax.
Are there anymore 09 750 Shadows at Riverside? I`d still have to pay the GST there and then the PST here in Sask, another 5% so I`d be over $7,480 plus the travel expenses.
No problem, I didn`t expect that there would be alot of left over 09`s laying around.
I maybe should maybe check with our local dealer tho I`d get stuck with those extra 10% in taxes.
While it`s an 08 this Shadow with only 373 kms is as close to new as I`ll ever find.
Good Morning everyone. Morris, I would be all over that bike, like white on rice. It is basically brand new with such low kms, the guy actually did you a favour, as you would lose any depreciation, and you are saving on taxes.Don't let it get away from you!
was a great day here also, although a busy and strenuous one. I've been putting an addition on the house this summer, 16"x26'6", then an attached 24'x26' garage. Its truss and roof time now, and to make matters better/worse, I decided that the roof on the existing house had to go also. My brother in law came down on thursday and we started ripping the old roof off the existing house. By the end of yesterday, we had the entire existing house roofless, ready for trusses. Today was a good day. Rocky start in the am, due to unforseen crookedness in the existing house (to be expected in a project like this), but as the day progressed, I was happy with our progress. we got all the trusses on the house, a good portion of one side sheated and some of the back side. Hopefully the weather stays nice so I can get it totally weather tight before nasty weather!!!
On truck side of things, I'm pissed at Ford for their engine line-up for 2011. I'll possibly be looking into getting a new truck come next july, and wanted an F150 Xlt with the 6.2l... not a chance says Ford. You want a 6.2 in the F150, you gotta go Lariat, Platnium, or Harley D. So, I'll either keep my truck come july, or get into a F250...
