Sherm I only wish it was that easy. It's a government building I'm talking about so there are enough hoops to jump through to choke a horse, just to get a door replaced. It should have been done before we moved in here two months ago as someone had backed into it years ago and it wasn't working right to start with! The contractor was finally here today to measure the door.... so maybe we will have it by Christmas . Maybe I'll have to start having hot toddies at work, just so I don't feel the cold.

I'm actually a civy contractor working on the base, but since all the buildings are guv-mint as you call them, we get to play by their rules. I used to be guv-mint but I did my time.
i had some guys starting a job for me yesterday... standing outside talking plans with them was freezing my butt off!!! time to pull out the mid-weight jacket...

mt. hood has 6" of snow with in the last few days. and i live 35 miles away from there.
