Fall G2G

Hey All,

Based on various posts, I am setting up a G2G at Sequim Bay State Park. The group site is right on the bay, away from everyone else. Right now I am looking at 17-19 Oct 08.

It has further advantages:
  • Boat launch and moorage ($10.50/day)
  • 7 Cedars Casino about 4 miles away
  • 4 great oyster beds. I know where the best ones are. (They have not been closed since I have been here)
  • Fresh clams (Closed at the park, but we can clam by my house)
Bring your shell fishing license! We can have 18 oysters and 10lbs of clams per day per license.

If we want a few hours of fun at the casino, the casino bus does pick up and drop off, or we can drive with a designated driver.

p.s. The tides should be favorable that weekend.

Mike, sounds great! Does it make financial scence to get the Group site or everyone rent their own. I am thinking that this will be a small group. BTW Martystowrig/girl is up for it.

Actually, I was just going to make a post on the subject...The ranger finally got back to me. The group site is closed after October 1st. The rest of the sites are first come/ first serve. He did tell me that based on the past, we would pretty much have the park to ourselves.

Too much info. Really didn't need to know you had rear end issues.

Oh you are just the funniest Tom. Are you bringing your bike to this one? Do we need to make sure you have a blankie too?
