sorry we , some of us get carried away, but i too would like to hear about the miller jeep trail, last time i tried to go on it the trail was closed because they were going to "recondition" the trail, that was a few years ago though
and what the hell is everybody doing on here at 4 in the morning?
No George, i didnt make it. I thought Saturday was Friday. By the time i woke up and realized, and went out to look at the Pathfinder to see if i would make it up there, it was too late. Also, im going to have to have a discussion with the lady. On Friday evening when i was out, she used the Pathfinder to store a bunch of boxes she moved from the garage.
Brady there is plenty of riding area for dirt bikes. There are only about four trails for 4x4. Miller, Yellow Jacket, Piru Creek and of course the hills within the Park.
Miller is about a 2-1/2 to 3 on a scale of 5. Most of it can be done with a high clearance four wheel drive vehicle with atleast a limited slip a tow hook at each end and a buddy with a tow strap. There are about five sections that I would say require a locker and good driving skill. The fire a couple of years ago destroyed the secenry until you get to the top of Almo Mt.
Hmmm might have to take a trip up there...the guys i go out with have jeeps my buddy has a TJ with Dana 44s air lockers a little lift and 33s and can do some driving....how long in time do the trails take...like can you do all 3 in one day or is each one a full day?
