rusted 97 f150
hi gentlemen. looking to tackle this job all week hopefully can get it done before my class start 7/15. i read a lot of impressive and informative stuff here already and is hyped and is hoping you guys can hook me up. to the machinist, i read about the fabulous blaster, the ez out, rethreading and others. already bought a can and sprayed it on 4 hours ago.
ordered the both complete manifold sets. this thing is so rusted out. but there is a cord/line coming from the top of the engine going onto the manifold on the driver side and was wondering what it was so i could order it. it looks like an O2 sensor but it is so rusted out.
should i beware anything on this job? the bolts seem pretty hard to get to. i read someone said remove the fender liner. any other tips to get a clear vision of these bolts. the bolts will definitely need replacement, where can i get it?
