Check engine/solenoid problem
My check engine light is on and the O/D light is flashing. The code it keeps putting out is P0775. Even after replacing the solenoid pack it's still showing the same code.
I was told by a mechanic that my O/D bands needed to be replaced and something about the servo. Basically, he told me I would need an overhaul on the transmission to fix the problem. The 2nd and 5th gears are not being recognized.
I need to know if anyone else has experienced this and is there a simpler solution?

P0775 Pressure Control Solenoid "B"
Did you check for continuity in the wire between the PCM connector and the connector for the Pressure Control Solenoid at the tranny?
Its a long shot but you may find the wire is damaged, it can and does happen.
If you need help finding what wire to check just ask.
