I used my code reader to run a cylinder balance test a couple of years ago with success but having trouble with it now. KOEO and KOER are both code 111. Running KOER again, after the codes finish reading, I lightly press the accelerator 1/4 down and release but it does not go into cylinder balance test.
I tried to get the computer to go into cylinder balance test mode again Sunday. Still 111 Pass in KOEO, CM, KOER works fine.
I wait until KOER reading is through and press the gas gently. After a couple of minutes the rpm changes once and no cylinder balance codes nor 90 pass. Any ideas?
I hate to sound like a squeeky wheel that needs grease. Someone will stop by eventually.
I tried waiting 20 seconds ater KOER codes finished then punched it to WOT this time, still nothing.
#2 and #8 plugs have some carbon but the other six looked great. Still have a miss at 1700 rpm light throttle and was trying to see if the problem was injector on 2 and 8 or ignition.
Any tips on running cylinder balance test would be appreciated.
