Should I do anything.

I have a 2000 F-150 with the 5.4.I only have 28,000 miles on the truck. After reading and hearing about plugs blowing out I am wondering do I need to do anything with my truck.I'm a firm believer in "IF it aint broke,,dont fix it" But I'm wondering is there anything that should be done to avoid expensive repairs down the road?

Nope, I wouldn't touch it. The "blowing-plugs-outta-the-head" issue is only on a very small percentage of trucks. The key thing to remember is to torque the spark plugs to Ford specifications.

you can never go wrong with checking the Air filter and the tire pressure

with only 28,000 miles in 8 years...I'd say you need to drive it more often...except nowadays with gas prices so high....

if the plugs havent been changed, i wouldnt mess with them...

Just keep up with routine mainteince that should be done but your truck shouldnt need any of that until it gets high kms I wouldnt worry about the spark plug isse or try not to

Yep like said before me.. dont mess with it. You shouldnt need to change them for another 70,000 miles anyway.
