hey guys,

my air conditioner does not work when i am cruising down the interstate at about 70mph. if i slow down, it kicks on and gets cold as usual. if i am stopped, turn on the a/c it works, and continues to work as i accelerate to highway speeds. it will stay on the whole time. also, i was getting a wierd noise coming through the vents like a leaf or a piece of paper was in the vent. air passage has not been restriced. i pulled out the blower motor real quick to see if i could find anything. nothing, i put the blower motor back in and the blower squeaked, then started blowing normal again. noise gone. when i run the fan on high, and have the heat maxed, there is a hot smell almost like candle wax. if i turn the heat down, it goes away.
any help on this topic would be greatly appreciated.
