I bought mine about 30 minutes ago, and as soon as my wife goes to the store, I'll throw it in and play with it a little. I'm updating it now. I just went to the local auto store...Could have saved a few bucks getting it online probably, but I hate waiting on the mail.

A friend of mine bought one last Friday and we were messing around with it. I guess it was defective because it kept turning itself on without user intervention, so they are sending him a new one. I'll see what mine does, but have a feeling his was more isolated than usual.

It'll take a while before I'll know if the mileage gets a bump. I usually base that off of at least 2 tanks of gas, and I've got the 35 gallon tank.

i bought mine from a site sponsor....discount power parts... they offered free shipping, and it only took 3 days, and that was up to alaska even. i along with a ton of people on this site love our units. easy install, and the gauges you can monitor is definately worth it. as for MPG increase, i doubt you will see it...... and thats because you will want to drive with your foot in the pedal more. i havent tried level 3 yet, but i hear its even better. if you go to edge's website they have pics of the units, but you can also see some in my gallery. (look at the pic for my airbag gauge, and you will see it ). plus, i have always had great support from edge. i had an older version, and rather than do a web update for me, they exchanged it for an entire new unit with the updated pod.

Mine's in, and it's staying shut off, which is cool. It's so damn hot here today (99) that I pulled the monitor off and have it inside. 99 in Colorado is different than 99 in Cali cuz we got no smog to block the sunlight. Seriously. I grew up in Cali.

Set on level 2 with WOT at 1.8, shift firmness at 3,3,2 and monitoring AIT, AMG, IMG, and Oil Temp. Will it have to be reprogrammed to those when I put it back in? Dunno.

I wish it had more in the 0-20 range, but after 20mph, there's a big difference. I like it.

I've had mine installed for quite some time now and have run it either in level two or three and have seen no MPG improvement. Level 3 is a blast though, seems like a different truck.

site sponser

Edge and all the other programmers got together and signed agreements to sell at the same prices. Authorized resellers get them for dirt cheap, but cannot sell them for that price. I think the standard is $400-450.

Alot of people sell the Edge for $400 and $50 shipping...but they'll usually waive the $50 shipping and offer "Free Shipping". Just a way to get around the Price Setting Edge has set
