Blinker Crises

The blinkers and the heated seats no longer work on my 04 truck the fuse was blown so I replaced it and it blew as soon as i hit the key. Any ideas or past experierances with this problem would be great.

you have a wire that is grounding out somewhere. is it the same fuse for both? cause then the heater for the seat could be shorted out too and causing and overload in the circuit.

Try unplugging the electrical connector for the heated seats and see if it still blows the fuse.

slc10844 is right. unplug the connector for the heater in the seats. if the fuse blows, its a problem with the blinkers. if the fuse doesnt blow, then you know its the heated seats thats doing it. and its probaly the heater coils are shorted out
