77 dually

building a 4x4 dually and was wondering how wide the 70's 16 inch dually rims are. Also I'm wanting to put atleats 34 or 35 inch tires. Any ideas

I have a real nice flat bed on it so fenders aren't really an issue. as long as they clear everything i'll be fine. I have 35's on the truck now but want to go with dually set up. Are the older rims 6 or 7 inches wide

I just de-duallized my '77 crew cab, took off the tires for my '88 mason dump, the new rims that were on the '77 were hayes, brand, wheels are 16 x 6, they had 235/85/16's on the dual wheel rims ...which by the way are for sale, along w/ the arrowcraft fenders/flares. I put 33's on the truck and it looks like I can fit 35's under it w/out any kind of lift needing to be added. Do you have the 9/16" stud on your rear axle? Make sure that you get the budd wheels that are specific for your year truck/rear diff.!!!
