My wife and I just bought a 2005 F250 with the V10. As part of the package we are having it converted to dual fuel (cng). There are a bunch of cng stations in Utah and the price just went up yesterday to $0.85 gge vs. $4.15 for 87 octane. It was a no-brainer.
My question is, has anyone out there in Utah done this, were you able to claim the tax credit, did it mess with the emission controls? My understanding of the tax credit is that the conversion has to be an EPA certified kit.
Too bad I can't find any CNG & propane sections in 2003 manual.
I think 2001 was the last year they offered it... If it ever was actually made at all... although I have heard of one or two with propane here on this site. But they didn't stay long.
--------------------they have it out west,I saw it at one of the Flying J's in Salt Lake along I-15 and a station west of Colorado spring's, just east of the corner of US 25 and colorado 67.Now I don't have a CNG car or truck, just saw the stuff along the road traveling on vacation, when you see a station sign and the price show's around a $1.00 less a gallon you take a "GOOD LOOK"to see what it is.

Well I've never seen a station that has E85 either. I'm not as well traveled as some folks around here.
What kind of mileage can you get off a certain size CNG tank?
