Lookin for info on the retro fit of 2008 mirrors (I know, here it comes again,
sorry)to a 2006. Has anybody successfully got the electric fold/extend figured out? If so, how much adapting is involved?

I believe dfuser has the info you need. Yes, his kit has the switches you must add to operate the power extend.
