I thought i would throw this out there to see what you all think. I have a 1995 f250 with the 351 and a manual trans. The past two summers i have had this little issue when the temp outside gets over 90 F. I will be driving the truck down the road and all of a sudden the truck starts jerking and spitiiting and spuddering like i am running out of gas(im not). The only thing that helps is to let the truck sit for a half hour or so and then i go go go. I have thought that it was some kinda vapor lock in the fuel rails or something but i have tried spraying some luke warm water on the rails to slowly cool them but little or no help. I have thought about the fuel pump as well cause the truck doesnt seem to have the 351 power it should have. (slugish when pulling a boat)
Any thoughts
When was the last time you changed the fuel filter? Last tune up? Mileage currently and have you had the fuel pressure checked when it is hot? Have you pulled the codes off the Computer to get a rough idea if the computer says all good or if it says a sensor is out?
I did a tune up about a year ago but i could not get the fuel filter off at that time. I am having that changed tomorrow AM. I have not checked the fuel pressure and i have no dumby lights on so i have not ran the codes. Do i need to do that with no lights on? Thanks for the speedy reply i have to have this thing running by the weekend
If it is the OBD-II you can get an autoparts store to check it. If is OBD-I then you can use the Paper clip method found on FordFuelinjection.com. Not all codes are reasons to turn the check engine light on.

Do you use gas with ethanol in it? If you do and gas without any ethanol is available in your area, I would switch to that. I have heard of ethanol doing some weird stuff.
