Truck jerking

Hey guys I'm new to this site and my truck is jerking really bad. It is a 6-speed and will jerk when I am giving it gas and letting off the gas. Sometimes it will give me a dead spot, and then respond. About a month ago i was going down hill and was coming to a stop sign, put my clutch in and usually idles down, in this case the truck died, after i stopped it started right back up. I have tried several different things, i changed the pedal assembly about a year ago and thought that would have corrected this issue but no it still happens. I have also had the Cam Shaft Sensor replaced by ford. Can you please help me out I would love to get this fixed and have my truck run smooth again.

When the truck jerks, do you get a 'Check Engine Light"? Can you have someone read your fault codes ?
A big welcome the forum..

Thanks for the welcome, I don't get the Check Engine Light on when it happens, that is why I am having a tough time figuring out what is wrong with it. I will check the codes with my Super Chips Programmer and post the codes if any here this afternoon when i get home from work.

Have you ever checked your UVCHs (Under Valve Cover Harnesses) one could have come loose.

Yes, that is correct. My thought it is not the UVCH.. It usually throws a code like P1316.. You might consider going back to stock and trying that..

Will do guys I will check the harness under the valve cover and also try running it in stock for a few days. What really troubles me about the problem is it does it a lower speeds, or when you let go of the pedal or acceletarte. Also when you have it in cruise control and turn it off, or resume it does it. Once the truck is in going it works just fine, it feels like the if the throttle gets stuck then breaks loose all of a sudden. And when you accelerate it will jerk making the RPMs jump up and down.

@ Clint yes the problem was happening before the CPS was replaced, so I am ruling that out somewhat i know sensors can be faulty so I might try another one just to be positive. I have read a couple of treads and think I am going to try disconnecting the fuel filter canister heater, and then if that doesn't do anything, try and replacing the TPS to see if that fixes anything.
@Deluxe06 yes i am in San Antonio TX, and excuse my ignorance what is an AE? And yes if anybody would like to help please help me?????????
Thanks to all of you!!!!!!!!!!!

Cool thanks I hope some one has one around here and can help me out to see if something comes up. I read my DTC's with my Super Chips programmer but nothing really came out. I will wait to see if any pop out this afternoon after running it in stock for while. I will keep you posted to see what happens.
Thanks,
