Stupid question: tailgate hardware?
My '70 F250 Camper Special came with the tailgate inside the bed, and the hardware in the glovebox. I'd like to re-attach the (very nice -- I think this thing actually wore the 1970 vintage camper shell all its life...) tailgate to the bed.
Problem is, I can't figure out how. I bought a reproduction manual for the truck, hoping to find enlightenment, but ended up with another glovebox ornament.
Is there a trick to putting these things on? The tailgate itself seems to have no slot for one of the hinges to slide into, like all the other trucks I've had... and now I'm stumped. It's possible that the hardware is incorrect (two of the same side?)
Can someone drop me a picture, or a picture tutorial, on how to remove/re-install this piece?
Thanks... :-)

The swing arms are put on next, examine them carefully for slot angle. Once bolted to the truck, bow the arm upward lift the gate until you can get the arm over the gate nub. Repete the other side.
That should give you an idea of how it goes.
