Intake manifold plenum spacer for EFI

I was looking on Summit and came across an intake plenum spacer for EFI 5.0 engines. It's supposed to decrease heat and create a more atomized fuel as it enters the engine. It would also make the passenger side valve cover more accessible, if nothing more... Thoughts? Would it just make a good paper weight?

That's what a lot of people say (paper weight) around here,me i have no idea never tried one before! If you have the extra money to burn i say why not would n't hurt anything i guess.

Well, I wanted to remove the upper intake to clean it up internally and externally, and to reseal it. I figured I would see if the spacer was any good at all since I would have the intake off... It's probably not worth it. I just wish something that simple and cheap would have a great impact. Hahaha unfortunately, I sort of doubt it.
