ok so here goes:
1) truck does not start when left over night (changed fuel pump and fuel filter) when u put some gas in the carb it runs great i noticed the gasket from the carb to mani is craked and i see bubbles comeing out is that y?
2) where can i buy replacement parts (body and engine) other then the junkyards? i checked LMCtruck.com and they got lots of stuff but its kinda pricey. any other top places?
3) friend gave me his carb rebuild kit its edelbrok 1477 says for perormer carbs can this work on my stock motorcraft?
When my bronco wouldn't start except with gas in the carb, i thought it was the gasket too. got a new carb cause the old one was bad, changed the gasket, still didn't start. Turned out that my rubber fuel line from the tank was rotted.
Just something to double-check. you can always pull the line off the carb and crank it to see if you're getting fuel, just use a bucket or something so the fuel doesn't fly all over the engine bay.
LMC is kinda pricey, but it's worth it if you can't find the parts locally. Good service and good quality for what it is.

thanks for the help
Try Broncograveyard.com-google it up or look for a link in this forum. Great place to buy lots of body parts and much cheaper than LMC or BOTP. There are several places I like to get motor parts from, and I use different places for different things: Summit Racing has it all, at fair prices, it's the standard from which I judge the other places. It's easy to shop online and gives you a great discription, applications and comparisons-as well as free tech support. Jegs.com has some good prices on some things. It's a little harder to shop and not as in depth in the descriptions, but carries a lot of quality stuff. One of my favorites is Northern Auto Parts- but they are heavily Chevy based, but you can get some real good buys on the Ford stuff they carry.Ebay and Craigslist.com are another place to find both kinds of parts. Don't forget the local classifieds and look under the classic auto section for ads for swap meets where you can find great deals. Are you looking for something specific?
thanks for the places to go and any ideas on the fuel issue, i pulled the carb yesterday gonna slap on some new gaskets n check that out. the choke works fine i was going to rebuild carb but since i dont haev the right kit i wont be doing that. ill put new gaskets down n check from there, hopefully its just that.
