help replacing thermostat
I need to change the thermostat and gasket on my 89 F-250 (351W) and have never replaced one nor do I know where it is. Can anyone help guide me through this or do you know of a diagram I can inspect? Thanks for any help.

help replacing thermostat
Follow the upper rad hose to the housing.
You need a :
Thermostat
Thermostat gasket
Gasket glue unless the gasket has a pre-glued face.
You need to drain the rad at least below level with the water pump.
If the coolant has deteriorated,replace it.
Do a flush & fill.
Once the new thermostat is installed > tighten housing to spec,make sure the drain for rad is plugged and refill to a 50-50 or 60-40 solution.
