making blocks work
can i take a 5.4l short block from a 05 150 and put it into my 97 (already a 5.4)? I know they changed the block (2 knock sensors) but did they change important things like coolant/oil passages? I am going to use the old heads but i dont want to tear a head off my new block to see if it will work. especially if i have to sell it. any help would be great.

what do you mean? the 97 is SOHC. does the 3V engine change that much?
