quick egr valve question

i need to clean my egr valve and i was lookin around and i was wondering what i should use to clean it out. i was going to use brake and parts cleaner but i just want to make shure first. thanks

Carb cleaner (2 plus 2) seems to work better as its stronger stuff. ive also found a hand held vacuum pump helps while you have it off to work the valve itself back and forth to free it up.
