I'm a new guy here, been a long standing member over on that "other site" . I have been lurking on here for a little while, and, to be honest, it just looks more fun. People just seem more real here and not nearly as "soft" so, figured I'd join and become a Noob all over again.
Got a lifted F150, also a "Suzuki Samurai" or whats left. Heavy into off roading. I also am a shop owner in the San Rafael area and can offer tech tips, and actual help whenever needed and when I'm available.
Alright, well thats basically it. Hope to see some of yall out on the trails.

Ya, Sami's are great ! Fun little rigs that damn near go anywhere stock ! With a few mods they are champs. My Zuk is chopped into a flat bed, has a temp. roll bar I made for now, working on a full cage and tube fenders as we speak. T-case 6.5- 1 , rear spooled, twin sticks, and the list could go on for quite awhile !
My 2004 F150 has a Fabtech 6" lift, 35x12.50 Pro-Comp extreme Muds, and Pro-Comp 18" wheels (series 8023). Some other mods as well. Makes a nice tow truck/recovery rig. Both are always "work in progress" .
Yes! good show! I wish I had a Samurai - maybe I could afford the gas to go somewhere. I have a jeep wagon - about as small as I could go and still pull a camp trailer.
We have a lifted F250 the group is building - you know anything about steering mods?
Ya I love tha Zuk, gas milage is horrible with the gearing I have in it, but its a trailer queen, so its alright.
What kinda steering mods we talking about here ? I do know a little bit bout em. Also get parts/goodies pretty darn cheap. Let me know if I can help out.
